#MondayMotivation|Post 1

Yes, it’s Monday. Yes it’s not the most exciting day of the week. But you can do some bits and bobs to make a bit more bearable and make it a good day of the week, especially if it’s your first week back at school, college, uni, or work. So here I am with some useful advice!

5 tips to a better Monday

Get up earlier than usual
By waking up half an hour early, you’ll give yourself more time to relax before you have to start doing work for the day.

Have A Shower
If you still feel half asleep, which I imagine you will, as I usually am, then this will make you open your eyes.

Make Your Bed
You’ll thank yourself when you come back and relax at the end of the day!

Refocus on your goals
See what you achieved last week and choose new or alter previous goals to complete this week and then do the same the weeks after to see how far you’ve come.

Read some positivity or create some (or both!)
Use Pinterest and have a read of some positive quotes to give you a boost to go out and be the boss of your life. Go out and give some compliments to people, they’ll appreciate it more than you think 🙂

and of course, as I’ve mentioned quotes, it’s only right to include my favourite four this fine Monday morning:

Take this week as it comes and know that you can deal with anything the week throws at you. Stay strong and stay positive and you’re halfway there to making steps to achieve your goals this year!

  1. This is just what I needed today! Barely slept a wink thanks to our security alarm going off every hour but I’ve just had the kick of the bum I needed after reading this post. Bring it on Monday!

  2. I absolutely love this! I’ve never thought of looking for motivational quotes online before but those 4 you’ve included are so good! My favourite is ‘no-one is you and that is your superpower’!
Thankyou for the motivation I’ll definitely be looking for more quotes like this in the future

    Jess xx

  3. I always love writing little positive motivational tweets every now and then! Really motivates me and i hope motivates other people too! Lovely post!

  4. This is really good advice and definitely something I could have done with reading before now, when I’m half asleep on the way to work! I always attempt to get up half an hour earlier to get a head start on the day but staying in bed is always just too appealing

  5. These are great pointers! Even though I’m commenting on a Friday I think you can apply these to any day of the week! I work from Home so I don’t have that Monday to Friday structure but I need to learn to make more of a routine xxx

  6. Hello ,

I saw your tweet about animals and thought I will check your website. I like it!

I love pets. I have two beautiful thai cats called Tammy(female) and Yommo(male). Yommo is 1 year older than Tommy. He acts like a bigger brother for her. 🙂
I have even created an Instagram account for them ( https://www.instagram.com/tayo_home/ ) and probably soon they will have more followers than me (kinda funny).

I have subscribed to your newsletter. 🙂

Keep up the good work on your blog.
