4 UK Cities I Plan to Visit

I’ve travelled the UK more than any other country, but there’s still places I’d like to visit (or visit again!) for many different reasons, including their culture.

My mum will probably tell me that I’ve been to these cities before, but it was most likely when I was a little kid, so it’s unlikely I’d remember.

Therefore, in the future, I would like to visit:

  1. Manchester- I don’t know much about this city, but I guess that’s just a reason to go and explore it!

  2. Birmingham- I visited this city in the Midlands in November for a youth residential (more to follow soon), so had a very, very brief look around the area. But due to train situations for practically everyone but me, and it being the first weekend of the Xmas market when I visited, there was little time to have a wander! Maybe next year, I’ll have to visit the city again, on a day I have free. If I visit, I’ll be sure to write something about it.

  3. Edinburgh- this may seem like an odd one but as a politics student I am determined to visit the Scottish Parliament and have a tour around the place.ย scottish parliament
  4. Cardiff- I’d like to visit Cardiff, to see the Welsh Assembly. This was something I was going to do this week, but due to the death of a Welsh politician, the assembly aren’t sitting and there are no tours available. Hopefully, in the new year I will be able to see the workings of this devolved institution.ย Senedd

  1. I may be biased as I live in Edinburgh but it really is a great city! Arthurโ€™s seat is worth a walk up as they views are spectacular and the Parliament is right at the foot of it. ๐Ÿ™‚
