Xmas Blogging- Day 6- The Winter Tag

December has finally come around, and it’s crazy to think that in 25 days time we will be celebrating the new year! As it begins to turn colder outside, I felt like it was the perfect time to write a post about winter and participate in the Winter Tag, which I first saw on Ashleigh Writes!

Q1: What are your favourite things about winter?

Not looking like an idiot when I wear loads of layers (I get cold easily) and it means I can wear my big fluffy scarves and hats!

Q2: What is your favourite winter outfit?

The normal jumper and jeans… casual and comfortable! Obviously, as this gets nearer to Christmas, it’ll be woolly jumpers and my Christmas jumper.

Q3: What is your favourite winter food?

Probably roast dinner… if that counts! It’s just so tasty and it means you have a reason to have lots and lots of gravy over all your veg and other goodies, so what’s not to love?

Q4: What is your favourite winter drink?

This has to be hot chocolate! When I’m back home for Christmas on the 16th/17th, I will definitely be making one with all the trimmings i.e lots of cream and marshmallows.

Q5: What is your dream way to spend a winter’s day?

Just chilling, maybe writing a blog post or two and spending some quality time with my family and friends.

Q6: How do you like to do your makeup in the winter?

I don’t really do makeup at any point in the year, I’m definitely not the best person to apply it. But if I did, I guess I’d wear a tad bit of blusher and a subtle matte lip liquid!

Q7: What are you hoping to get for Christmas?

I’m not really hoping for anything. I’m not someone who wants the latest technology and other products and I don’t wish for that either. I hope people help those in need this Christmas, because it’s not their fault they are in the position they are. So if you can, go do a random act of kindness, or go and support a charity, or anything else which will make a change to those who are less fortunate this season.

Q8: What are the first three things that remind you of winter?

Hot chocolate, cold weather and Christmas lights!

Q9: What is your favourite winter song?

Probably to your surprise, I don’t actually have one! I like too many songs to be able to pick one would be near impossible.

Q10: What us your favourite winter memory?

I’ll put this one on hold- and will update if i think of something interesting 😂

Q11: What is your favourite winter scent?

Probably the smell of cinnamon and mixed spice, like even though I’m not much of a fan, they always give a christmassy aroma to a space!

Q12: Finish this sentence: If I could have one wish this Christmas, it would be….

If I could have one wish this Christmas, it would be to spend Christmas with everyone in my family. It’s going to be hard without my grandma and my great aunt beside me, as every Christmas day/boxing day, we would spend quality time with them. But I will carry on and enjoy myself as I know that’s what they’d want me to do ❤

Please feel free to take part in this winter tag, and if you do, be sure to tag me in your post, so I can have a read!
