So I’ve been at university for a good 7 (nearly 8!) weeks now and I’ve realised that I haven’t posted any photos in the city which I’m living in, which is Leicester! For those of you who don’t know, I’m in my first year studying International Relations and Politics at De Montfort University.
Below, are photos taken near Abbey Park, which is about a 20 minute walk from campus.
The first of the two photos below is of a path I use every day on campus. The second is of the Hawthorn Building, which is often home to many students who do courses in the Department of Health and Life Sciences.
The next picture is near the Vijay Patel building, this building is famous for the TV on the side and many arts students study here. The photograph after this is of the library and the Eric Wood Learning Zone on the DMU Campus.
The two photos below were taken on the campus itself; the first is of the path which leads to the Hugh Aston Building (the building pictured to the right in the photo) and this is the home to students in the Faculty of Business and Law. The second and final photo is of the Student’s Union (DSU).
All of these photos were taken by myself and I will post more as the year goes on I’m sure, as this is only a selection of sights in Leicester.
Hope you enjoy these photographs!
