10 Tips To Be More Positive

‘See the positive side, the potential and make an effort’- Dalai Lama

Keep away the negative thoughts, as they drain your energy away quickly and the more negatively you think, the stronger the thoughts will become, which at the end of the day will make matters worse.

So, take a look at these steps and try to make your life more positive and therefore more enjoyable in the long term!

1. Smile.

2. Surround yourself with positive people.

3. Take responsibility for your actions.

4. Help someone.

5. Think of 5 things that you are grateful for right now.

6. Remember that no one is perfect, so move on.

7. Read positive quotes.

8. Ignore what other people think or say about you.

9. Believe in yourself.

10. Do some writing or drawing- let your mind be free.

Are you positive?

  1. Hey there I really enjoy the simple straight to the point steps about positivity. This is definitely the way being positive should be instead of some complicated never ending ritual. Thank you so much for this post which really help me realise positivity can be this easy in life. I really needed this. I think point 5 is something I tend to neglect so yes going to work on that. Oh and you mean grateful instead of “greatful” right? πŸ™‚ I would love it if you can check out my recent post on motivation at http://www.meowthemiao.wordpress.com where I sprinkle happiness into mundane life. πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you, it’s great to hear people are enjoying what I post! That’s very true, you want something that is easy to apply to your lifestyle, not something which is taking over your life! Glad to know it’s helped you, and yes I mean grateful, oops for the spelling mistake! I’ve looked at it, I really like how you’ve approached it! πŸ™‚
